You can’t protect Dharma if you don’t know what it is.

On this auspicious occasion of Diwali ,we tried to recollect knowledge of   ‘Our Vedas ‘.

An astonishing act presented by our Grade IV and V students . The act was representing the picture of ‘Ramleela’ . It was really very interesting and knowledge giving act.Our modern education system is lacking in giving  knowledge of religions ,inculcating morals and ethics . Children hardly know about Vedas ,Holy books ,their names ,their characters and their teachings.

There is quite obvious to relate it with the disappearing concept of  Ramleela of 90’s decade. Festivals like Dusshera and Diwali were very different in early  ages .  Festivals were not for a single day, it used to get celebrated  for 10 days in  cozy nights  recalling all characters of Ramayana . Change in our  life style is not keeping our children away from ethics but also detaining their health . Now -a- days, Diwali is all about bursting crackers whole night and fighting for breath the next day because of smoke they caused . Festival Diwali has become a reason of  terror for people with respiratory issues. They are the only one who face consequences of  residue of crackers in air . Festival should be for spreading happiness ,not for harming  anyone.

We, schools and educational organisations, should take pledge to keep the  spirit of festival alive ,it will be a gift to society for coming decades.

  • This design is steller! You obviously know how to keep a reader amused. Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost…HaHa!) Fantastic job. I really enjoyed what you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it. Too cool!

  • The next time I read a blog, I hope that it doesnt disappoint me as much as this one. I mean, I know it was my choice to read, but I actually thought youd have something interesting to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about something that you could fix if you werent too busy looking for attention.
